Ayhan Aslan, born in 1938 in Alaşehir, embarked on his business career by establishing a cotton spinning factory in 1964 while continuing his studies at the Izmir Academy of Economics and Commercial Sciences. Following this venture, he entered the petroleum industry with fuel station investments. In addition to these endeavors, Aslan worked as a cotton and grape broker at the Izmir Exchange until 1990.
In 1997, while Petrol Ofisi was still a state-owned company, Ayhan Aslan played a leading role in the establishment of the Employers' Union of Petroleum Products (PÜİS) in Istanbul to protect the rights of fuel distributors. Having served as the President of PÜİS Izmir Branch for many years, Ayhan Aslan was also a member of the "High Honor Council" at the PÜİS Ankara Headquarters in recognition of his services. As one of the founding members of the Izmir Chamber of Maritime Commerce, established in 1987, Aslan has been part of the chamber's management team since its inception. The Izmir Chamber of Commerce Council honored him as the Vice President of the Council in recognition of his significant contributions over the years.
Ayhan Aslan, married with two children and two grandchildren, remains at the helm of the commercial enterprises he has founded and provides mentorship to second-generation executives. He holds the position of Honorary President since the establishment of Asmira Group.
Honorary President
Mustafa Aslan was born in İzmir in 1980. He graduated from İzmir American College in 1998, earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Dokuz Eylul University in 2003, and completed his MBA at İzmir University of Economics in 2007.
After completing his high school education, Aslan entered the business world in 1998 by starting as a Finance Manager in the family company founded by his father, Ayhan Aslan. After being appointed as the Marine Sales Manager in the same company in 2000, he established As-Mira Petroleum Company in 2001 and transferred the group's marine fuel sales to this new company. He also took on the role of Head of Financial Affairs for the group in 2010. In 2017, he founded Asmira Group by bringing together the marine, fuel, yachting and logistics activities of Asmira Company and its subsidiaries under a single umbrella. With the vision of becoming "a local brand on all European coasts," Asmira&Co was established in 2019 and started its operations in Montenegro. With this move, it became the only Turkish company operating in bunker operations in Europe. Mustafa Aslan continues his duty as the Chairman of the Board of Asmira Group.
In addition to his duties at Asmira Group, Mustafa Aslan has been actively involved in various non-governmental organizations. Aslan began his career in NGOs with his membership in the Alsancak Rotaract in 1999. He served as president of the Alsancak Rotaract Club from 2004 to 2005 and continued his activities in the club until 2006. Aslan became a member of the International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) in 2006 and served as a Central Board Member at the General Assembly of the Istanbul Chamber of Shipping in April 2018. As the representative of the Istanbul Chamber of Shipping in the first council elections, Aslan was among the delegates of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and he was elected as a Substitute Member of the Board of Directors in the Chamber of Shipping Elections in October 2022. Aslan, who became a member of the Aegean Young Businessmen Association (EGİAD) in 2011, held various positions in the association and was appointed Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors in the General Assembly in 2016. He was elected President of EGİAD in 2019, a position he held until March 2021. Since 2020, Aslan has been a member of TÜSİAD, and in 2025 he was elected to the Board of Directors of the International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA), becoming one of the two representatives of the Turkish bunker sector. He is married and has one daughter.

Gonca Aslan was born in Manisa in 1981. She completed her high school education at İzmir Özel Türk Koleji, her undergraduate education in Opera/Vocal Arts Department at Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory, her MBA at İzmir University of Economics, her Master's degree in Event Management at SHMS in Switzerland, and her Doctorate degree in Management and Organization at Yaşar University.
Gonca Aslan started her professional career at Maria Rita Epik in 2005. After returning from Switzerland, she started her doctoral studies and held various academic positions at Yaşar University between 2011-2016. In addition to these positions, she also participated in various projects in the Social Sciences Research Group at the University of Oslo for two consecutive years. Aslan, who has published many articles in international journals, books, and book chapters mainly on innovation, creative industries, and entrepreneurship, has also given workshops and seminars on various topics and developed projects for the public and private sector. Gonca Aslan joined Asmira Group in 2017 where she continues to work as a Board Member responsible for Business Development and Corporate Relations.
In addition to her duties at Asmira Group, Gonca Aslan is also involved in various civil society organizations, serving on the Istanbul Young Entrepreneurs Council and the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council. Gonca Aslan has been a consistent supporter of various social projects and organizations, including . EÇEV, KİTVAK, Mirno More ve Kids for Freedom. She supports non-governmental organizations in the areas of education, art, and healthcare as part of her social responsibility efforts. As a veteran member of the Kültürpark Tennis Club, Aslan has a passion for sports and actively participates in sailing, windsurfing, golfing and skiing. She is a medal-winning half marathon runner in her age group and regularly competes in races across Europe. She speaks English, Italian, French, and Slovenian. She is married and has one daughter.
Board Member - Business Development and Corporate Relations
Yaşar Arağ was born in İzmir in 1977. He graduated from İzmir Cumhuriyet Commercial Vocational High School in the Accounting department with the highest grade. He continued his academic achievements by graduating as the top student from the Finance Department of Dokuz Eylül University in 1998. Arağ worked in the field of accounting for 10 years, including his internship, and received his certified public accountant license. Later, he served in various positions such as General Manager at Kavipsan Group, an international plastic packaging company, from 2004 to 2009 and as a Board Member and Deputy General Manager at Pizza Pizza Group from 2009 to 2013. Arığ joined the Asmira Group as the Group Financial and Administrative Affairs Manager in 2013, and from 2017 to 2022, he served as the Finance Director and Board Member. Since 2022, he has continued to serve as a Board Member responsible for Financial and Commercial Affairs. Yaşar Arağ holds the title of Certified Public Accountant and Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority Auditor, and is married with two children.

A. Kaan Irmak was born in Istanbul in 1972 and graduated from Intas High School. In 1994, he earned his degree in Marine Engineering Operations from Istanbul Technical University's Maritime Faculty. Irmak worked on commercial ships for 5 years and received the title of Chief Engineer in long-distance voyages. After switching to a career on land, he worked as a Business Development Engineer at Şişecam for 4 years while also completing Marmara University Foundation's English Contemporary Management Techniques Program through evening classes.
In 2003, A. Kaan Irmak joined Petrol Ofisi A.Ş. and started working in the Marine Sales Department as an expert. He held positions such as Field Manager, Sales Coordinator, Marine Lubricants Sales Manager from 2010 to 2012, and Marine Sales Manager, which included both lubricant and fuel sales, from 2012 to 2016. Irmak became the Supply and Logistics Manager for Lubricants at Petrol Ofisi A.Ş. from 2016 to 2019 and left the company in 2019 after serving for 16 years to join Asmira Group as Sales Director. A. Kaan Irmak currently holds the position of Commercial Affairs Coordinator at Asmira Group since 2022, and he is married and has two children.
Commercial Coordinator - Executive Board Member
Alper Koçak, born in Manisa in 1979, completed his middle school and high school education at Salihli Sekine Evren Anatolian High School, and his higher education at Anadolu University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, with a thesis on Congress and Seminar Tourism in Türkiye. He worked in the event management and organization sector on a project basis between 1998-2002 and full-time between 2002-2005. In 2005, he founded Tempus Organization and in 2007, 4team Organization. Until 2019, he worked as a Project Coordinator, Project Coordinator Assistant, Human Resources Coordinator, and trainer in many national and international government summits, fairs, congresses, and corporate events.
In addition to his professional career, Koçak continues his activities in many non-governmental organizations. He served as a Board Member of Karşıyaka Sports Club Basketball Branch for three terms and as a Board Member of Aegean Young Businessmen Association (EGIAD) for two terms. Currently, he continues to serve as Vice President of İzmir Organization Components Association (IZOB-DER). During his education, Koçak acted in city theaters and played licensed volleyball. He is interested in scuba diving and underwater hunting. In 2019, he started working as Asmira Logistics’ General Manager and also became a co-founder of Asmira Events. Since 2022, Alper Koçak has been serving as Asmira Group Industrial Operational Director and is married with one child.

Adil Halit Satır was born in Ankara in 1972 and graduated from Deniz High School in 1989, Naval Academy Industrial Engineering Department in 1993, and Ege University Marketing and Brand Management master’s Program in 2022, respectively.
After his graduation, Satır worked on Navy ships between 1993-1996, and then left the Navy in 1996. He worked as a Deck Officer on commercial ships until 1998. From 1998 until 2022, he held various management positions in companies such as ELF, BP, COCA-COLA, TURKCELL, and ARMAKOM. Adil Halit Satır joined Asmira Group in February 2022 as Marine Operations Director; in 2023, he was appointed Adriatic Operations Director in Croatia, and in 2025, he returned to Türkiye to continue his role as Yachting Operations Director. He is married and has two daughters.
Yacht Operations Director - Executive Board Member
Nazmi Yıldız completed his high school education at İzmir Finance High School in 1998. He earned his bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Middle East Technical University (METU) in 2003 and completed his academic development by graduating from the Executive MBA program at İzmir University of Economics in 2023.
Nazmi Yıldız started his professional career between 2003 and 2004 at Dışbank A.Ş., where he worked as a Management Trainee in the Commercial Banking Group. During this period, he was responsible for the marketing of commercial banking products and played an active role in the development of the portfolio in both quantitative and qualitative terms.
Yıldız embarked on his long-standing career in the energy retail sector in June 2005 at Petrol Ofisi A.Ş. as a Retail Field Manager. Over the years, he successfully managed the implementation of retail projects across multiple regions, including Afyon–Kütahya and Muğla–Antalya. After serving as NFC & Sales Coordinator between January 2013 and May 2016, he was promoted in May 2016 to the position of Sales and Investment Manager responsible for the Black Sea and Eastern regions. In this role, he led the region’s end-to-end commercial development and contributed to the creation of investment guidelines.
Yıldız later assumed senior leadership roles as Aegean Regional Director between 2019 and 2023, followed by Marmara Regional Director from 2023 to 2025. In May 2025, he joined Asmira Group as Domestic Sales Director and Member of the Executive Board.
In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Nazmi Yıldız has been actively involved in various civil society organizations. He is married and the father of two children.
Domestic Fuel Sales Director – Executive Board Member
Ayça Erdölek was born in İzmir in 1987. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Celal Bayar University in 2009. She has a strong command of English.
Erdölek began her professional career in accounting and finance in 2009. Within As-Mira Group, she assumed various roles across finance and accounting functions, gaining extensive experience in cash flow management, banking relations, financial reporting, and operational finance.
Between 2014 and 2016, she served as Financial Affairs Supervisor, actively contributing to financial planning, budgeting, risk management, and procurement processes. From 2016 to 2018, she worked as Group Finance Manager at İlyas Şen Group of Companies, where she was responsible for group-wide financial reporting and risk management activities.
Rejoining Asmira Group in 2018, Erdölek held successive roles as Group Financial Affairs Manager, Finance and Internal Audit Manager, Senior Procurement Manager, and Senior Internal Audit Manager. During this period, she played a key role in structuring finance, procurement, and audit functions, strengthening internal control mechanisms, and enhancing corporate processes. As of October 2025, she continues her role as Director of Support Functions.
Ayça Erdölek is married and is the mother of twin daughters.
Shared Services Director – Executive Board Member
Cüneyt Tabak was born in Aydın in 1994. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Maritime and Port Management at the Faculty of Maritime Studies of Bülent Ecevit University in 2016.
Following his graduation, Cüneyt Tabak started his professional career at Asmira in February 2018 as an Operations Officer and was promoted to Operations Supervisor within six months. In February 2019, he was appointed Bunker Operations Manager; in February 2020, he transitioned to the position of Marina Stations Sales and Operations Manager.
In line with Asmira’s growth and expansion of its operational locations, Cüneyt Tabak was appointed Northern Region Manager in September 2020. After approximately three and a half years in Türkiye, he was assigned in May 2021 to Montenegro as Sales Manager of the Portonovi Marina Fuel Station within the scope of the company’s international investments. In February 2023, following the growth of the Montenegro station, he assumed the role of Station Manager; in June 2024, he was appointed Country Operations Manager in line with the expansion of Asmira’s activities in Montenegro to include sectors beyond fuel.
As of January 2025, within the scope of Asmira’s investments in other countries across the Adriatic region, Cüneyt Tabak has been appointed Adriatic Operations Director and continues his professional career within Asmira Group.
